The Italy Goalkeeper Home Shirt 2006 brings back one of the most iconic goalkeeper looks from the Azzurri’s rich football history. Featuring a striking gold base, dark navy details, a classic V-neck collar and gradient panels across the shoulders and sleeves, this shirt was worn during Italy’s unforgettable 2006 World Cup triumph in Germany by legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. A distinctive design that captures the confidence, elegance and winning mentality of one of the greatest goalkeepers in football history.

Buffon produced an outstanding tournament as Italy became world champions for the fourth time. He kept five clean sheets in seven matches and conceded only two goals throughout the entire World Cup. His performances helped the Azzurri reach the final against France, where Italy eventually lifted the trophy after a dramatic penalty shootout. Buffon was rewarded for his incredible campaign with the Lev Yashin Award as the tournament’s best goalkeeper.

Made from lightweight and breathable fabric, the shirt provides excellent comfort and freedom of movement whether you’re playing, training or wearing it as a classic football piece.
